Hi there! Thanks for coming by today! I’m excited to write this blog post because olive green pants are underrated. If you love denim like me but need at least one pair of something that isn’t denim in your closet, olive green is the perfect alternative to blue jeans or other neutral pants. This color is actually super versatile because it matches black, brown, cream, tan, white, etc. It’s a classic color that goes well with a lot! Plus, you can wear them to work or dress them for a casual weekend outing.

What to Wear With Olive Green Pants
Let’s look at different items that go with olive green pants and full outfit ideas. But, first, here are some olive green pants I love!
Espadrille Sandals
Olive green works across a lot of seasons, and therefore, a lot of shoe options! Espadrilles are a reliable shoe that you can wear with so many different looks throughout the summer and into the fall. I love the edgier options!
Striped Blouse, Striped Sweater, Or Striped T-Shirt
Stripes are all the rage right now, and they’re a classic so you’ll always be in style wearing them. I love my striped t-shirt I picked up from COS last summer. I wear it non-stop. COS has something of a cult following for their t-shirts, and whenever I try one or buy one, I remember why.
Lace Top For A Night Out
A black lace top or any type of black blouse with lace will be so cute for a night out with olive green pants, especially in the fall. I love the options with long sleeves for cooler weather. Black and olive green together feels more like fall. I love how these tops come in a range of styles, so there are different options depending on your personal style!

My exact top is old from Sezane, but I also own the first tank top I linked below in a different color. I highly recommend it! It’s super flowy, so it’s both comfortable and flattering.
Denim Jacket
Denim is another fabric that goes with olive, and I love how the different textures look together. Depending on where you are in the world, save this type of outfit for spring, fall, or winter. There are so many different types of denim jackets, so I included a few below that I love.
Neutral Feminine Top
Olive pants also pair perfectly with a more feminine top in a soft color like off white, white, or beige. Wear raffia shoes and accessories to make your outfit feel like it’s meant for the warm weather.
Kitten Heels
A pointed toe, neutral kitten heel will make your legs look longer, and they’re typically easy to walk in. I also love how slingback shoes look with pants, and these raffia shoes are perfect to wear in the spring and all summer. It will give your outfit a warm weather vibe.
Matching Straw Bag
My olive straw bag is the perfect accessory to wear with olive pants in the summer and fall! I carry this bag everywhere and with just about any outfit. But, it feels like it was made to wear with olive green pants. Don’t worry if the greens are different shades of olive green. The texture of the bag with olive green pants with look so good. It’s the perfect bag for anyone, whether you’re heading out for a day with your little one, going shopping with your friends, or carrying it to the pool or the beach.

Trench Coat
We all need a trench coat or lightweight jacket at some point! If you’re commuting to work or planning to be outside, a trench coat, whether you go for a cropped trench coat, a linen trench coat, or a classic one, will look super chic with olive green pants.
Outfits To Wear With Olive Green Pants
There are so many ways to style olive green pants, so I thought I’d share a few tips. If you want to make your outfit feel more feminine and romantic, add a flowy top or blouse with ruffle details, whether they’re statement ruffles or something subtle. In the other direction, you can add extra edge to your olive green pants by wearing shoes or a belt with studs.
Don’t be afraid to wear olive green all year. In the summer, choose cotton or linen pants and accessorize with raffia to give your outfit a true summer vibe.
Women’s Outfits with Olive Green Pants
Okay, let’s look at olive green pants outfits!
Green Pants and Stripe Shirt To Dress Up or Down
This outfit is so versatile. My top is a linen-cotton blend, so it’s perfect to wear from spring right into the fall. I left my shirt untucked for a super comfortable, effortless weekend outfit. But, if you tuck in your shirt, you can wear it to work. Be sure to add a belt if you tuck it in! I recreated this outfit below with wide leg pants similar to mine as well as a pair of more fitted olive green pants that would also look nice.

Base Outfit You Can Style For Work or Weekend
A white t-shirt and olive green pants make the perfect base outfit. You can dress this outfit up for work or you can wear it casually like I am below. When it’s cooler in the spring or fall, you could wear this with white sneakers for a weekend outfit. My white tee is linen, but you can easily change this for a cotton or even a cashmere t-shirt for cooler weather.

How To Style Olive Green Pants And A T-Shirt For Work In The Fall
You can also wear this outfit to work in cooler temperatures just by changing a few things – but keeping the same base outfit. First, add a sweater. I love this one because it’s the perfect off white, cream color! Or, if you aren’t ready for a sweater, you can wear a white shirt, such as a button up! Then, change your shoes to make your outfit feel more like fall. Flats or loafers (this is my favorite pair) will always help with this. These ankle strap mesh ballet flats are gorgeous, and they’re perfect for work. They have a suede ankle strap that brings in a fall feel to your outfit.
Long Linen Vest And Straw Bag For Summer And Early Fall
Flowy olive green pants also pair well with a tailored vest. While this type of outfit is definitely work appropriate, I love these tailored vests for the weekend too. They instantly elevate your outfit, and you can wear them with kitten heels, sandals, or even ballet flats. You could go with black, cream, white, or even another shade of olive green when you wear a vest with olive green pants. I love all of these neutral colors, including the denim vest, to wear with olive green! The first two vests are the exact two I’m wearing below. I’m wearing a small in the cream and a medium in the black.

On-Trend Butter Yellow Top With Olive Green Pants
Butter yellow is still on-trend, and honestly, it’s just a really gorgeous color even if you love neutrals. It’s not overwhelming, but it adds a little something to your outfit.

Versatile Matching Set
Matching sets are just the best because you can get so much use out of them. You can wear this full outfit to work, but you can also wear the top and pants as separates. The matching set is the type of look I love for important days at the office, whether you’re giving a presentation or starting a new job. You don’t need to stress about what you’re wearing in the morning because this outfit basically puts itself together. Of course, you can add whatever type of jewelry you love too.
This vest will also work with skirts and jeans. And, you can definitely wear the pants with t-shirts, sweaters, or a blouse.
Casual Weekend Outfit With A Striped T-Shirt
A striped t-shirt is another perfect match for olive pants. Plus, it’s something you’ll wear all the time, whether you style it with olive green pants or something totally different like a skirt.
