What Does the Sezane Will Jacket Look Like
The Will Jacket is a straight cut jacket with functional pockets. It has long sleeves that are easy to roll up in any version. The straight cut of the jacket makes it easy to style with different bottoms, whether you prefer jeans, a skirt, or a dress. The Will Jackets comes in several different materials, but they’re all the same cut and style.
The Suede Will Jacket
If I could pick one piece of versatile outerwear to suggest to you, it’s the suede version of the Will Jacket. It’s great to take your outfits through transitional season like summer into fall, but it’s also perfect to wear under your heavier coats in the winter. I love how it works with so many different colors, shoes, and bottoms. I recommend the suede version for work, weekends, and travel.
I feel like every suede and leather jacket fits differently, so let’s discuss how it actually feels when you wear it. This jacket is a flowier suede that gives the jacket movement, which is nice since the jacket is a straight cut. The movement ensures the jacket does not feel boxy.
You should take your normal size or size down one size in this style. I’m wearing size small in the camel suede and medium in the olive green suede. This jacket also comes in leather now, which is on my wishlist! The options are brown, black, and navy so there’s definitely something that will work with most wardrobes.
The Denim Will Jacket
The denim Will jacket is an elevated version of a denim jacket. It doesn’t feel like your typical jean jacket. I love how you can style it for office days if you’re in a more casual dress code. I wear mine with a maxi skirt, over dresses, and with jeans. It looks especially chic with white jeans or ecru jeans in the spring and fall.
The denim that’s currently available is a darker wash than the denim jacket you see me wearing in this post. The darker denim wash will be easier to dress up, and I’d style it in all the same ways I wear the one I have.
The Cotton Will Jacket
The cotton Will Jacket is another spring and fall option. It’s definitely made for the weekend or after work. It looks just as good with black denim as it does with white denim, or you can style it with a skirt. I love how it makes a silk skirt outfit feel a little more like it’s meant for date night! The con of the cotton version is it’s not really work appropriate unless you’re in a more casual dress code.
The Wool Will Jacket
This plaid houndstooth jacket is just a dream! It’s mostly wool, so it should be very warm for those cold fall days and all winter.
What To Consider Before Buying The Sezane Will Jacket
Which One Is Worth It?
I wear the camel suede version the most out of all of the Will jackets, and I think it’s the best investment out of all of them. I haven’t tried the leather options yet, but they’re on my wishlist so I’d also consider the leather options if you don’t want suede. I definitely have friends who worry about the upkeep related to suede, but I haven’t had any issues!
When Do You Want to Wear Your Will Jacket?
The suede version or one of the leather options will be a good choice for work. You can easily style any of them for the office, but you’ll also be able to wear them again on the weekends. These always feel like the most versatile options to me.
If you’re want a jacket you can wear throughout the fall and winter, the houndstooth print is gorgeous. It’s fun, but you can still wear it to work.

I also recommend the suede version if you’re someone who loves to wear jeans. The suede and leather versions just look so chic with denim. The cotton Will Jacket is also a great option to wear in the spring and fall with jeans.
Do You Need A Denim Jacket Refresh
Okay, I haven’t forgotten about the denim version! I wear it a lot too. I feel like each jacket serves a different purpose in my closet.
If you’re looking for a new denim jacket in general or just love a jean jacket, I’d go with the denim version. This is perfect for the weekend, casual work dress codes, and travel. You can obviously wear a denim jacket with just about anything. While denim will always make your outfit feel more casual, the denim Will Jacket still adds a touch of sophistication and chic to your look.
Is the Sezane Will Jacket Worth It?
Yes, I think the Sezane Will Jacket is a good investment in outerwear. I’ve worn each of mine so many times, and I always feel comfortable and put together.
Think about when you might wear the jacket, how often you’ll wear it, if it works for the weather where you live, and how easily it will work with existing pieces in your wardrobe before deciding which style to purchase.

It’s Versatile and Practical
As you can see in my photos throughout this post, I wear the Will jacket with everything! Whether you’re going to work or just need something over your t-shirt or sweater, it’s a versatile jacket. I also appreciate how practical it is. I love how you can roll up the sleeves to create a laid back look or for utility. It’s also easy to move in – I can easily get my toddler in and out of the carseat.

Easy to Style
I love how easy this jacket is to style. You don’t really have to do much except wear it, but you can obviously add accessories too. It’s easy to dress up with a scarf or accessories.

Camel Suede Jacket and Dress for Summer-to-Fall Outfit
The camel suede version of the Will is one of my favorite ways to take a summer outfit and make it feel like fall. It layers perfectly over a sleeveless summer dress. You can also style the outfit with slingbacks or loafers to make it feel like fall.
Camel Suede Will Jacket for Spring and Fall With Jeans
Fall and spring are my favorite seasons to wear the suede version of the Will jacket. It’s the perfect lightweight layer that you can easily wear with a sweater or a simple t-shirt, but you can also dress it up with accessories. This jacket goes with slingbacks just as much as it does boots! The camel suede is definitely the most versatile for me, but I also own and love the green suede version, which you can see on me below.
Denim Will Jacket and Black Maxi Skirt
This is just one way to style the denim Will. It’s so versatile! You could easily give this outfit more of a professional feel by wearing loafers or ballet flats instead of combat boots!
Denim Will Jacket and Ecru Jeans
Ecru or white jeans always look so good with a denim jacket! This is the type of outfit you can wear for an elevated weekend look, whether you’re grabbing breakfast with your friends or want to look nice running errands.
Denim on Denim Outfit
The denim version also works for denim on denim outfits. Since the jacket is a straight cut, it looks best with a straight leg jean so there isn’t a lot of extra material. The lines feel vertical throughout the outfit, so even though my jacket is longer, it doesn’t make my legs look short.
I also wore a ribbed sweater with vertical lines. I love how easy it is to layer a sweater or cardigan underneath the Will jacket too, which is important when you want to be able to wear this with more than just a t-shirt.
Green Suede Will Jacket Layered for Winter
You can also wear the suede version of the Will jacket all winter too! I love how it looks over a cashmere sweater or turtleneck. The green looks so good with black, brown, or grey boots so you can always create different outfit options with the green.
Green Cotton Will Jacket for Transitional Seasons
This is the perfect weekend jacket! It’s cotton, so it’s another style to wear during spring and fall for an extra lightweight layer. I think it would look really cute styled with a knee length silk skirt for date night or if you’re out with friends.
